CEMEC was brought on board as trouble-shooter for the project. The entire sealing system was revised, a new humidification module was developed and the corresponding moulds were supplied.
The turbine wheel was redesigned and the mould supplied by CEMEC. The turbine must run extremely quietly. A combination of turbine design and additional silencers lowered the device noise to a quiet 28 db(A).
CEMEC also developed the headgear with adjustable forehead support for the silicone breathing mask. Prototyping, mould manufacturing and zero series were also included in the scope of delivery.
A heating element using thick film technology was developed for the humidifier. The ceramic base with printed heating elements guarantees efficient energy transfer even at low temperatures.
