Assembly steps, installation of the electronics and full assembly are already tested and checked during this phase.
The camera is used in a mobile phone with 5 and/or 8 MBit sensor. Important development requirements included the overall size and a simple installation concept. However, the accuracy requirements for the lens movement during focussing have to be met.
CEMEC supplied the concept and complete development of the mechanical parts, including integration and design of the flexible circuit board with sensor and controller. The services package was rounded out by FEM modelling to ensure the accuracy of the focussing movement, prototyping and implementation support.
